The man's amazing escape came as he tried to stop army vehicles in Istanbul during last week's bid to overthrow the government.
Video: Man Hit By Tanks Twice And Survives
Video footage from Turkey's failed coup shows a pro-government protester ducking down between the tracks of a speeding tan
Remarkably, the man emerges unscathed - but then the same thing happens with a second tank.
This time, his arm is injured as the vehicle ploughs over him.
The demonstrator has been named in the Turkish media as Sabri Unal.
He was trying to block tanks in Istanbul during the coup attempt on 15 July.
After the second tank drove away from the scene, people rushed over to help him.
The images are similar to those of the man who stood in front of tanks during China's crackdown on protesters in Tiananmen Square in 1989.
They emerged as officials said more than 240 government supporters are now believed to have died in the violence surrounding the abortive coup, and at least 24 plotters.
In the past few days the authorities have detained about 9,000 people, including 115 generals and 350 officers suspected of being involved in the uprising.
Ninety-nine of the generals have been charged as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues his crackdown on those he holds responsible.
Turkey has also cut access to WikiLeaks and banned academics from travelling abroad.
