Asus has expanded its Zenfone 3 range with the launch of Max and Laser variants in Vietnam. Asus had announced Zenfone 3 at Computex in Taipei last month.
Asus had announced Zenfone 3 in three variants – Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. Now the company has silently expanded the portfolio with these new devices.
Asus Zenfone 3 Laser, as the name implies, is the successor to Zenfone 2 Laser. The USP of the device is its ultra-fast 0.03 second laser autofocus. The Zenfone 3 Laser features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D arc glass.
Asus Zenfone Laser series has been camera-centric smartphone and Zenfone 3 Laser gets a 13MP rear image sensor from Sony coupled with electronic image stabilisation.
Asus Zenfone 3 Laser also supports color correction sensor but it we will have to wait and see how it works in real life. The smartphone with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at 5,990,000 vietnamese dong (approximately Rs 18,000).
Asus Zenfone 3 Max on the other hand is for those looking at days long battery life. The smartphone is backed by a 4,100mAh battery witha standby time of up to 30 days. It features metal unibody design with 5.2-inch 2.5D curved arc glass display on the front.The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The device is priced at 4,490,000 vietnamese dong (approximately Rs 13,500).Asus had earlier told IndianExpress.com that company will reveal its Zenfone 3 range in India in the month of August.
