Martial arts expert with 35 years experience demonstrates how to evade a knife attacker (Photos & Video)

In a video tutorial by Daily Mail, a martial arts expert named Dee who has over 35 years experience demonstrates how someone should go about defending themselves if attacked by a knife-wielding attacker.
Dee who teaches martial arts classes in London has experience teaching Judo, kickboxing and Jiujutsu.

She said:

'The most important thing to remember in all of this is avoidance,' she also explained that a potential victim should make a 'rapid threat assessment' before deciding the best possible action to take. These techniques must only be used if a victim finds themselves in imminent danger with nowhere to run,' she added.
She also emphasised the importance of practice: 'It's important to keep practising.'
'You can learn these techniques by watching the video, but you must practice the movements so that should the situation arise, the correct response becomes a natural reaction.'
